The second finalist for the Global Challenge Cologne Grand Final has been found as mTw defeat SK Gaming 2-1.
It wasn’t really clear what to expect of this match. SK Gaming had to use Johan "face" Klasson as a standin, due to Marcus "zet" Sundström missing his flight for Cologne. The Danes from mTw came directly from their various vacations, which meant no preparations what so ever.
It should turn out to be a very exciting match. The Danes won a fairly comfortable tuscan, with a 16-8 score. SK gaming then forced mTw onto nuke, where the Swedes could secure a 16-12 win. Third map should be picked by mTw, which turned out to be inferno.
SK Gaming took a 10-5 lead, when first half concluded, the Danes then saw SK Gaming moving closer to a victory, as the Swedes continued to take rounds. The Danes saw SK Gaming having multiple match-points, but the Danes did not give up, and turned the remaining rounds in their direction. This forced the match into overtime, after first set things were still even and a second overtime should be played. This time mTw secured the overall win, by taking a 26-22 win on inferno and 2-1 overall.

The Danes move on to the Grand Final, where they will face mousesports. The Germans who earlier today crushed fnatic 2-0, seem like the stronger favorite for this match, but with the show mTw put on stage just now, nothing is to predicted.
